Static Fire Test Explosion


Test Fire: 9:00 PM
Launch site: Space Launch Complex (SLC) 36, Cape Canaveral, Florida.

New Glenn Flight
Payload: Amazon LEO satellites

Viewing Sites: Titusville and Merritt Island FL

During a pre-Launch test dress rehearsal, a major anomaly resulted in an explosion of both first and second stages of the Blue Origin New Glenn (NG-4) rocket.
No injuries to personell were reported, major damage occurred to the rocket and launch ground support structures.

I spotted the fireball and heard the expolsion from my home in Titusville and ran grab cameras to record what I could before going to Merritt Island for a closer view and capture of this tragic event.
